Banda Bahadur Marg

Banda Bahadur Marg has several important establishments, both public and private, as a result of which it is constantly abuzz with people and activity. Our design proposition aims to disentangle the varied activities from one another, in order to re-imagine the street as a safe, pedestrian-friendly and functional space that is beneficial to all stakeholders. The street could not be re-imagined in isolation to its surroundings, hence at the macro scale, the proposition aims to embed the street itself within a larger network of spaces that are prevalent in its surroundings. This aim was backed by an analysis of land use pattern, blue-green network and transit network.
